Adrian & Raya's Wedding

With Adrian and Raya's wedding only days away I jumped on a flight to Sydney and made my way up to the beautiful Central Coast.  Adrian had told me he had a stunning location for the ceremony and he wasn't wrong.  A bit of a trek up a 4WD track and voila.  Welcome to Crackneck lookout in the Wyrrabalong National Park.  What an amazing view.

After a traditional aboriginal smoking ceremony, the guests went on Adrian and Raya's to start the party, while the wedding party and myself headed down to Bateau Bay for some shots on the beach.  Getting back to Adrian and Raya's the party was in full swing with a local band supplying a very tasty asssortment of laid back 'Jack Johnson' style tunes.

Congratulations Adrian and Raya, that was a wonderful wedding, here's a sneak peak from the day.

One year on from the floods that stopped Australia's 3rd largest city and impacted so many people in South East Queensland, I've revisited my flood coverage and here's a few more images of the aftermath of the floods of 2011.

Brisbane Floods - The Clean Up

With the commencement of the Queensland Floods Commission of Inquiry, the inquiry has received more than 440 GB of information, which amounts to about six million printed pages. The year long inquiry will investigate the disaster, state's preparedness and response to widespread flooding, examining the dam operations and early flood warnings, particularly in the Lockyer Valley where more than 20 people died.

Here are some new images of the aftermath and the massive clean up operation, that went on for months and in some areas, is still going on.
