The only way to show just how BIG this flood was, would have been from the air. Some great shots have been circulating media outlets with examples of this, but I had to settle with land based images, so here's a few pano's I've just created.

West EndAfter an inland tsunami swept through Toowoomba and the Lockyer Valley on the 10th January, leaving 9 people dead and 66 missing, the capital city of Queensland - Brisbane is now engulfed in floodwater. With mass evacuees from suburbs such as West End, Fairfield, New Farm, Milton, Rosalie, Auchenflower, Toowong, Chelmer, Rocklea the river reached a peak of 4.46m, 1 metre shy from the icon flood of '74.
2 days after the Darling Downs tsunami the death toll has risen to 16, with 58 still missing.
